I bet religious people cannot answer this question. Can they?

People believe to give meaning to their lives, lives that are made meaningless by the way humans are treated and abused by others. Holy books are there to give strength to the down-trodden, which is basically everybody, and those who may need strength and meaning concerning ethical choices in relation to drug addiction or alcoholism or a criminality, or being suicidal. Just because you don't need meaning in your life because your life is going fine shouldn't mean that you can be presumptuous in uming other don't.
