Should the FIND Madeleine be frozen now?
The McCanns have bowed to public opinion and now state that they won't use the money in the FIND Madeleine fund to pay their legal costs. Apparently they are thinking about starting a new fund to ask for donations to pay for their legal expenses. (Timesonline). However as they considered using the fund it is clear that they now believe that Madeleine is dead ( if they weren't aware of that all along). My point being that as the fund was set up specifically to LOOK FOR Madeleine, surely if the poor child is dead and there appears to be enough evidence to support this the money in the fund should be frozen until it can be given to other childrens charities. As it is the McCanns still have access to this money and it is a totally unethical situation that 2 official suspects in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann should have access to the fund set up to find her. For all we know this could be fraud on a mive scale. What do you all think?
