I was severely beaten 14 yrs ago ,i suffer PTS SEVERE i was severely physically injured.they did little to hel?

treat my panic attacks ,nightmares etc.they did finally put me on xanax which worked wonders(after trying about 5 other meds).Now I am going through serious spinal surgery,my disability from my job will end in 8 weeks and i am in severe pain,and i will be financially ruined and yes i did apply for SSDI ii will even lose my car i have not slept at nite am not eating snappy,panic attacks cannot make decisionss pace the floor all night i feel like i am on the edge of a nervous breakdown. Right now all my doctor will give me is .5 mil Of Klonipan which does nothing but make me tired but not enough to sleep.I Know xanax has done wonders for me when prescribed before How do I convince my new doctor this med really works and i never had a problem being addicted to it. I am so nervous when I try and eat my throat tightens up and i can not swallow without coughing and choking!I am an absolute nervous wreak. So help! someone I hate the klonipin it is a waste of money every time i fill it it does not help at all! I even tried 2 .5 at once during a panic attack it did nothing how do i convince my doctor the xanax has worked before(it has been 5 yrs since i was given it and the DR moved his practice out of towm)What can I do to convince my DR this is the med that will actually work even my anxiety and my PTS which is back like i was beaten yesterday
