Question to All Iguana Owners?

Well for the cage bottom you can use,Orchid bark, artificial turf, indoor/outdoor carpeting, newspaper, and alfalfa pellets are all useful for this. Bark or wood chips can tend to attract mites and other insects, so keep this in mind. Cedar chips can be toxic, so avoid using these. Make sure it has somthing to climb since they are very arboural. For the heating i would recommend a heat light and not a heat rock because it could burn the lizard, the temp in the cage should average between 95 and 85 degrees fahrenheit. It is a good idea to provide a bowl of water in your iguanas tank for humidity and soaking purposes. My Iguana started out kind of mean, and would tell swipe my hand alot, but after frequent handiling it stoped all that and becacame very doscile. Keep in mind that they grow to be about 6 feet in a short time. All in all i think iguanas ar great pets.
