Im doing communications right now?

Just walk up to them and tell them some crap like "hey, I'm doing a survey" for whatever organization you are with. Or you can even make one up, like for example, you are a student at a university doing a study. You'll get the answers that you need. Just don't seem intimidating or uncomfortable to people. Make them feel like you are just doing a project, like you've been told to do. :) Hope this helps.
