Personal thought's on dads?

My hubby had the same kinda upbringing. His dad is around now, barely. But he has 3 step kids that he would give the world to and does. He doesn't do the same for my hubby at all. I actually think that it has made my hubby a better father because of it. When you become a father never forget your upbringing and how it made you feel and how it would make your children feel. You sound like you would make a wonderful father someday and I hope you have many kids to bless your life! As far as your second question I have no idea how anyone can leave their kids at all. I guess to some people out of sight out of mind is okay for them to live like that. I just know that I could never do that. Good luck to you in your future.
