To all traditional worshippers of main stream monotheic religion's, is god male?

This question is to all of those who deem themselves traditional worshippers of these religions, god is referred to as him or he. What does this mean to you? Does it mean literally that god is male? Does that mean that if you are male then you are closer to god and that a female is lesser than you? Why do you think god created the female? Is this something you question? Finally were you aware that all these single all powerful male god religions came about after humankind realised that man was equally necessary to procreate? Do you believe that this is just coincidence?
