What do you think should be the best move of the GOP re: recent rift with Taiwan?

Should PNoy just simply hand what the Taiwanese want, an apology? Or should we really stick to the earlier decision and face potential jeopardy of some 90,000 OFWs in Taiwan in the coming days?
